Registration is open for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists RAD Dash 5k. The run/walk is Saturday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the Bosque School in northwest Albuquerque or virtually. The event recognizes the vital role of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals in health care and builds ties with communities across the country.
In addition to the in-person race, individuals and groups may register to participate virtually. This is a family-friendly event.
The RAD Dash 5k offers age group, overall and team awards. Early registration ends Sept. 13. Virtual participants who register by Sept. 13 will be mailed a packet with a T-shirt, bib and medal. Virtual participants who register after Sept. 13 will receive a RAD Dash 5K downloadable commemorative certificate of participation but will not be shipped a packet. 100 Years of Collecting|100 Years of Connecting is on view through December 13, 2025 at the Nuevo Mexicano Heritage Arts Museum, located at 750 Camino Lejo on Museum Hill in Santa Fe. The exhibition marks the Spanish Colonial Arts Society's centennial by telling its century-long story of creating and caring for an extraordinary trove of nearly 4,000 objects representing the distinctive Hispano heritage of New Mexico. This provides a unique lens on the Society’s legacy of connecting to a community of artists and supporters of Hispano arts in New Mexico and beyond.
Stories Art Can Tell is a fun and accessible art-making workshop hosted by SITE SANTA FE at Santa Fe’s public libraries. Participants will be invited to respond creatively to a simple prompt based on the storytelling theme of the 12th SITE SANTA FE International: Once Within a Time and create an original postcard. They will have the opportunity to display their works at the libraries or to send their postcards in the mail.Come with the address of someone you want to write a postcard to!There will be three workshops, one at each public library, and a final community celebration at the Southside Library. Everyone is invited to celebrate their stories!

Join Ranger Lily and Instructional Coordinator Rebekha for a guided tour of the permanent exhibition, "Bosque Redondo…A Place of Suffering…A Place of Survival." Participants will also experience a tour outdoors, visiting the site’s flock of Navajo Churro sheep and exploring the exterior grounds at Fort Sumner Historic Site. These tours teach people about the experiences of the Diné (Navajo) and Ndé (Mescalero Apache) who were forced to live at Bosque Redondo Indian Reservation in the 1860s, as well as stories of their resilience and hope through time. The tour is included with general admission of $7/adult and free for children 16 and younger and Native/Tribal Affiliations

The Annual Pueblo Gingerbread House Contest is a favorite holiday tradition at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Children and adults are invited to enter a gingerbread house inspired by a Pueblo village, house, community church or historic building with prizes awarded in children’s and adult categories. This is an annual holiday event that is a unique way to share and enjoy Pueblo culture with your family.
