Toby Atencio has been involved with 暗黑网 radio and the Raices Collective since 2007. He became a certified and active DJ in 2009. He is a Native of Albuquerque and attended UNM forhis studies. He hosts both 鈥淪alsa Sabrosa鈥� shows on Friday nights and Raices shows on Saturday afternoons. Toby's love for Salsa, and Latin Jazz music has been a lifelong journey, and shows in his programs with 暗黑网.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, Melissa graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2010 with a degree in International Affairs. She grew up with a nuclear and extended family of educators and community workers. Much of her work experience has been with youth in the community. After graduating college, Melissa traveled Europe and came back to Albuquerque to start working! Since joining Generation Justice, Melissa has found a love for radio production and has since eagerly helped to produce our Sunday radio shows. Melissa brings her Gold personality and Virgo skills, including a love of color coding EVERYTHING to the Generation Justice family! Melissa loves books, movies, music, and is a pop culture aficionado.

I love music, especially when it is live and there is dancing involved. Music is my medicine, and I am here to help others figure out the proper dose ;) I am currently enrolled as graduate at the University of New Mexico where I am pursuing a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration on Nonprofit Management. This interest stems from my volunteer work in live broadcasting radio for the past ten years, with a focus on community issues and announcements. I work on a multitude of events, both public and private, to publicize and advertise for the benefit of my community.

Amanda Peacher is an Arthur F. Burns fellow reporting and producing in Berlin in 2013. Amanda is from Portland, Oregon, where she works as the public insight journalist for Oregon Public Broadcasting. She produces radio and online stories, data visualizations, multimedia projects, and facilitates community engagement opportunities for OPB's newsroom.

Marino is Din茅 (Navajo) and grew up in Gallup. His interest in journalism started with the now defunct radio station KQ93 FM.
