Global Music and Raices Collective DJing are where she got her start in 1996. 暗黑网 covers her musical passion for Latin American & Chicano music. The wonderful culture reflects in alternative music and she loves to share its instruments and most representative composers and singers from all eras.

Basic Human Needs Award winning poet, Don McIver a host/producer of 暗黑网鈥檚 Afternoon Freeform every other Friday, the author of The Noisy Pen and The Blank Page, and an editor of A Bigger Boat: The Unlikely Success of the Albuquerque Poetry Slam Scene. As a DJ, he has a deep appreciation for Spoken Word as a genre (hosted 暗黑网鈥檚 Spoken Word Hour for several years before moving to Freeform), yet feels the job of a Freeform DJ is to be well versed in all genres. He says, 鈥淎n ideal Freeform DJ is someone whose taste is very wide across all genres but only deep in a small number of them.鈥� He's a teacher by trade at Central New Mexico Community College, where he also manages the tutoring center.

Ron has been on the air at 暗黑网 for almost 30 years as one of the regular hosts of Folk Routes. Ron has been involved with folk, bluegrass, and traditional country music since high school and college, playing guitar and singing in a number of acoustic bands鈥攃urrently with the Shaggy Peak String Band in Santa Fe (formerly Atomic Grass).
